Council 12263 and Assembly 3198 Coats for Kids 2025

 

Hardeeville PD expressed honor and gratitude to receive coats for children in the community that will be handed out by their officers on patrol. SK Dan Pennings  (center) and GK Sam Corona (2nd left) represented Assembly 3198 and Council 12263’s respectively.

The Bluffton Police Department greatly appreciated the donation of children jackets “to help keep our little ones cozy this season! Warm Hearts, Warm Kids!” SK Dan Pennings and GK Sam Corona represented Assembly 3198 and Council 12263’s presentation.

Christmas Card Delivery

 

PGK Michael Casalvieri (L) and SK Jim Kulach (R) delivered signed Christmas cards from KofC Council 12263 for the residents of May River Landings Assisted Living Facility located in Bluffton. Resident Frank Varga (Blue Shirt) is a Veteran and Lifetime KofC member and is about to celebrate his 102nd birthday (Jan 2026)!

2025 Knight of the Year – SK Jim Woehlke

 

Jim was a standout this year, always willing to jump in a giving a hand during almost every activity the Knights had in 2025.  Jim’s leadership has made the council a success this year.  He has been active in roles of Recorder, Webmaster and Cor Leader.  He organized and a Cor program and got it opened to the parish when few others thought it could be done.  Well done Jim!

SK Vince and Karen Taylor’s worthy selection as Family of the Year is seen in their countless hours donating time to Pro Life causes, the Food Bank and alter servers at St. Gregory the Great Masses.

The Golf Outing in 2025 was a tremendous success creating more revenue than had been generated in the past far exceeding any expectation.  The Knights came together as a team and made this work under the leadership of Mike and Peter.  Thanks guys!

 Walterboro Veterans’ Victory House Bar-B-Q by Council and Assembly

On May 14, Members of Council 12263 and Assembly 3198 served Bar-B-Q to over 200 residents and staff of the
Veterans Victory House in Walterboro.

display case (shown in background) for the awards received by Council 12263 throughout the years. Chris noted
he was accepting on behalf of those who worked with him on the project: John Patrino and Walt Bryson.
